Empirical
Investigation will also take the form of initial applications
of the life-itself embryonic logic to reach problems facing
our world currently.
The theoreticians will be in dialogue with empirical practitioners.
The dialogue will be a recursive process with the theory suggesting
questions and the answers modifying the theory
We are seeking leading thinkers and practitioners from various
fields ( as listed below) about how life-itself works at empirical
level? We will be gathering all empirical information about
the subject matter that the logic needs to account for. We are
looking for complex problems which are difficult to understand
and seem to have no solutions.
A) Individual living processes as foundation
for understanding life-itself processes:
-Rights of a living being: democracy
- Health: What are the conditions that produce health and illness?
We want all the information we can get about will, spirit and
health, stress and attitudes and values on health. How does
all four causes play a role? How does sign mutation play a role?
What are the value profiles, in particular the role of values
in sign mutations?
All the individual cells function within a body without surrendering
their autonomy in order to cooperate with other cells to sustain
life. Cooperation between multifarious diversity is fundamental
to life.
B) Organizations
-Family
-Community
-Business: The commerce field , Not business as usual, business
as an outgrowth of living not a reason for living, business
companies and organizations as living organisms. What is the
proper form of final cause for business? There has to be something
intrinsic to the business itself or you get a degenerative condition.
How do you identify where you are in the curve of growth? (two
points that look identical to each other, one that is a sign
of collapse and or growth). Note this is where the normal uses
of pragmatism cause a problem. What's the proper role by business
for globalization
-Government: a world becoming, what is the role of nations in
the globalization? What is the role of the UN? How do we arrive
at knowledge for sound policy? What is democracy and how does
it work using the understanding of life-itself perspective?
Religion
C) Processes & Values
-Democracy
-Globalization
-Separatism versus wholism
-Learning and Living together
-Violence, its roots which lead to destruction and war
-Inquiries: in the case of violence, do they have a sense of
time when they commit the act of violence?
D) Technologies
Technology, to bring a far broader range of understandings and
concerns to making decisions about technologies, growing an
understanding of the obligation to act as citizens about our
own lifestyles, together with other world citizens, to make
choices about research development, and dissemination of technologies
throughout our world. To build a democratic process, founded
on access to the best scientific research is the best way to
make these complex and critically important choices. This sort
of democracy would be a radical departure from the reward system
that drives technology decision-making today, the bottom line.
