The human living process is truly one of the greatest
amazements still largely outside our grasp. Even with all our technology and studies to know it, how we
each exist moment by moment, create, and love is a constant source of
discovery.
For the past few years my husband and I have been meeting
challenges of health matters, financial and human heart breaks not too
different from others alive today.
However, in this daily process, the self-knowing, reflection and
awareness processes keep revealing ever, wider possibilities within us as
living beings to create a-new.

Life gives us infinite possibilities to be ourselves, to act, to live in concert with other life and yes, to be in conflict with other life as well. It's as if the loving energy source says here is the gift of life, now you get to choose what to do with it. I will love you no matter what your choices holding always open to you the opportunity for redemption, for renewal and an opportunity to choose again. We act out of some inner wisdom of beingness, some kind of finger print of our nature that unfolds with gentle and sometimes intense creativeness, running like a river finding its opportunities to run wherever it can.
Always there are constraints, some are from who we are in form and species, and some from the world in which we inhabit at any given time. Our creative core seems to be given the instructions for how to learn, to discover, to uncover, to find original ways of acting, being, functioning that have never been before. Such revelations come through such constraints I believe. They say to our river, you have this and that to deal with, now what can you make of it? Where do you want to run? How do you want to move with this gift of life you have?
The actions we choose live on and on making ripples of impact in all directions into other living actions and beings' choices. What a salad of concoctions we make together. Some are rich with flavors soothing and some are pungent, strident, bitter even. What do we do with that? What do we make of it? What actions will we choose next?
So this day of dawning, another marking for renewal, starting again with fresh day, fresh hour, fresh moment, I sit with these Skye thoughts – life creates us as amazing beings – what I call on today in myself is remembering my amazing contribution to the concert and shake hands with others as they make their choices. What a dance! What a miracle of hopefulness! What a life!

In the beginning was the GIFT of life. No one asked to be given this gift, we
receive this miraculous life force and promptly forget about it and take it for
granted and begin to focus on the distractions of everything else. We focus on "things,"
parts of the whole, and forget the most fundamental spark of life that makes
every act of becoming possible. Without this connection to the life force, we
don't exist, we don't sustain ourselves or any living process.
We hear spiritual leaders lure us with this or that dogma of
what they believe will help us feel this connection and call it religion,
something that is believed, or something we have faith in.
And we ask a very simple question that requires no seminar,
book to read, course to take, or teacher to teach us, what beats your
heart?
What is the most basic fundamental truth of reality? It is life – and of this realm many
scientists and spiritual leaders alike are confounded.
So why has this escaped our attention? What are the current conditions of
belief and underlying assumptions about reality that keep us moving away from
this inner wisdom, access to this cosmic force available to all living
entities?

As the world's memory of apartheid
receded, Desmond Tutu responded to a stream of invitations to speak around the
world on the practical implications of ubuntu. An excerpt from a speech to the
United Nations Commission on Human Rights in Geneva in 2001 follows.
We inhabit a universe that is
characterized by diversity. There is not just one planet or one star; there are
galaxies of all different sorts, a plethora of animal species, different kinds
of plants, and different races and ethnic groups. God shows us, even with a
human body, that it is made up of different organs performing different
functions and that it is precisely that diversity that makes it an organism. If
it were only one organ, it would not be a human body. We are constantly being
made aware of the glorious diversity that is written into the structure of the
universe we inhabit, and we are helped to see that if it were otherwise, things
would go awry. How could you have a soccer team if all were goalkeepers? How
would it be an orchestra if all were French horns?

Are Big Ideas Gone for Good? |

NYTimes article about the Ilusive Big Ideas brings up lots of "yes that's right" responses, cynicsim and feelings of longing for the " really big ideas", not ones that have started small and "scaled up" or "gone viral" or etc, but what does it mean a really big idea, bring on your thoughts. Here's some that have come in to me.

Washington DC Abstractions Isolated From Reality - Misplaced Concreteness |

If
you think values are ideals, then you make harmonization impossible because
your values are right and theirs are wrong and there is no room for
harmonization.
Ideals are abstractions. Abstractions do not hold the
entire reality in which they are thought to function. Thus they cannot be
achieved, and even if they could be, given the dynamics of life, there is no
absolute right and wrong set of ideals that apply to everyone all the time.
I've been looking for some way to address this craziness in Washington,DC.
This mornings' Op Ed NY Times peice by Paul Krugman said it all. "If he's (Obama) for it, I'm agin it." But it doesn't get to what can be done. If holding to one's ideals, that is abstractions about reality, would allow them to come into being, we'd all be rich and happpy. So why doesn't that work? Because ideals work as part of a whole reality but in isolation they make impossible situations like we're seeing...people acting in the context of their reality, each one trying to find what works for that reality as they see it or feel it. And that is a huge set of variables in each human being. But when we come down to life - the processes that push us along to new possibilities, it requires something beyond rules, or ideals. It doesn't work by a set of rules someone made up arbitrarily as a disjunct truth from all experience.
Our unconscious and inner relations of relations (value dynamics) have to function by laws of coherence. When the moment arises that people see the foolishness of their position and they will, how they resolve it will be by a masterful act to call out the higher values of what works for the greater good of ALL people. Be ready President Obama - helping those to save "face" may be the greatest good you can perform as they try to find a resolve to their closely held ideals that only serve some "misplaced concreteness" or abraction that has nothing to do with reality on any level but self interest of a very small few.

Life is Water’s Quantum Jazz

and maintaining the quantum coherence and in energizing the organism.

Synopsis
I am going to give you the latest instalment of my life story: the quantum coherent organism. Quantum coherence is the pre-requisite for consciousness. It is the pre-conscious ground that Deepak Chopra mentioned in his opening speech, without which all the amazing things described yesterday evening – precognition, telepathy, remote viewing, entanglement, and so on - would not be possible. It the ‘I’ in everyone, even though we are composed of tens of trillions of cells and hundreds of trillions of bacteria, and astronomical numbers of the most diverse kinds of molecules. The quantum coherent organism is a macroscopic
quantum being with an ever-evolving wave function spread throughout the entire universe, entangling the wave functions of other quantum beings. Quantum coherence of the organism has such important implications on how we are to live our lives that I want to bring you all that contemporary science has to offer.
This latest episode is on how water is crucial to the quantum coherence of organisms. Highly polarized multiple layers of liquid crystalline water molecules form dynamically coherent units with the macromolecules, enabling them to function as quantum molecular energy machines that transform and transfer
energy with close to 100 percent efficiency. This liquid crystalline continuum of intimately associated polarised water and macromolecules extends throughout the extracellular matrix into the interior of every single cell, enabling each cell, ultimately each molecule, to intercommunicate with every other. Intercommunication is the key to the quantum jazz of life, in place of command and control.
Quantum jazz is my metaphor for the incredibly dynamic light and sound dance-show inside the quantum coherent organism as it goes about its business of living. It involves the most diverse players, coordinated from subatomic to macroscopic dimensions spanning a frequency range of 73 octaves, each improvising freely and spontaneously from moment to moment yet perfectly in tune
and in step with the whole. Rather like the quantum jazz dancers (Poreotics) that ended last night’s gala performance, only much, much more so.

The functions of our identity require love and loving. Being ourselves
is the only way we can be and yet, our society has structured itself in
such a way that makes it difficult to feel the love that is our very
nature; it breathes, forms, and creates us.
By focusing outward towards that which is merely tangible, we have
become stuck in false measurement, unknowable capricious rules; we have
collectively and individually become lost to ourselves. Love is always
operative within us and yet we can't feel it or know it except in those
fleeting moments of being in nature, with animals, a moment of heart
felt sharing or an aesthetic moment experienced in the arts. Loving
draws us to oneness. Loving draws us home to ourselves as living
beings

The Christ Idea Is Loving
The time of loving is upon us –
what does love provide? 2000 years
ago a consciousness of love was introduced to a world that was lonely, warring,
hungry, without reason or purpose.
Today we are back there, and to return to this loving energy awareness
is only to recall a moment of connection to nature, to a new-born child, a
creative act. It only takes a
moment that will and can last a whole life long –
So with this day of the Christ
idea – Christmas - we are brought this loving reminder – that in compassion, a
peaceful pause, the giving of thoughtfulness, the connection awareness we are
joined in this moment, all separation is removed, warring has no gain, we
experience truly being fed and the purpose of each of us is to fulfill that
which is uniquely ours to give– I give thanks for this gift of all gifts.
May this season of loving be ever
opening in us all.
